Manual Weather Stations

We support local institutions in complementing existing weather data-sets with data coming from additional weather stations installed at community level, especially in hardly accessible and vulnerable area.

Community members are trained to measure and record daily weather data, together with additional observations about impacts, traditional indicators or seasonal decisions to generate an essential archive of weather-related data at local level.

Thanks to the use of the 3Map System, recorded data are uploaded into the Cloud DataBase to be easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Data are transformed into meaningful information and shared to different actors at different levels through the Telegram ChatBot and the Data Dashboards.
