Mariana is an Environmental Geologist holding a Master’s in Environmental Assessment from Concordia University (Canada), with nearly 20 years of experience in water resources, environmental management, GIS, and climate-related initiatives across Latin America, Africa, and Canada.
At TriM, she manages climate monitoring and capacity-building projects funded by international cooperation, promoting the integration of community-based observations, digital information systems, and institutional decision-making processes.
Her professional trajectory spans hydrogeology, environmental impact assessment, environmental data management for the extractive sector, and academic teaching and research. She has developed a strong multidisciplinary profile that bridges scientific knowledge, traditional ecological knowledge, and a gender-responsive approach.
